Go – Gather – Grow is all about digging in the Word of God to reach the world with the message of God’s love, mercy, and grace. And because I have received it so freely, I can extend it to you.
Hi, I’m Cindy, a Canadian gal living in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada, or so our vehicle license plate tagline says.
When life throws a curve ball, it is great to know that God always loves. He IS love! He has shown me the great extent of His love over and over. Through His forgiveness, He has shown me how to forgive others. Through His mercy, He has shown me how to be merciful. Through His grace, He has shown me what it is like to receive grace.
Those two words are amazing! But God showered upon me His love, forgiveness and mercy! He showed me over and over again how much He loved me and still loves me.
I want you to know that what God has done for me, He will do for you!
A Solid Foundation
Are you looking for a place to study His Word? Then you are in the right place to study with me as we find out how much He loves you, how often He thinks of you and what kind of thoughts He thinks. There will be posts where we will explore these things together. We will find out what it means to pursue living a holy and blameless life.
As we study His word, whether it is a topical or book study, we will utilize the steps in the Inductive Bible Study Method. That is, we will observe the text, interpret it based on context and apply it so that we can live according to the Word.
It is imperative that Christ-followers study the Word of God. Paul wrote to Timothy saying, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” in 2 Timothy 2:15.
David, the Psalmist, spoke of the importance of strong roots when he mentioned in Psalm 1:3 “and he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.“
Solomon, David’s son and the wisest man in Bible times, teaches the importance of knowing “wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; 4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.” Proverbs 1:1-4.
This doesn’t happen by osmosis but rather by diligently studying the Word of God to observe, interpret and apply it so that we might live lives that are holy and blameless before Almighty God.
Go – Gather – Grow is about studying the Word of God. Will you join me?

The mission of Go – Gather – Grow is based on Matthew 28:19, 20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (NKJV)
The mission looks like this:
Go = Go therefore
Gather = Make disciples, baptize them
Grow = Teach them
We do this one by one, using the internet as our platform. Though I may not always know when someone has been reached, or when a heart has been touched and changed, God knows, He sees and He hears.
Let’s live out God’s Word together!
